PROFILE:

Professor Qin joined the faculty of Wayne State University Law School in the fall of 2000.  Prior to that, she practiced six years in the Hong Kong and New York offices of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton, specializing in international business transactions. Before joining Cleary Gottlieb, she clerked for the late Chief Judge Dominick DiCarlo of the U.S. Court of International Trade.  Prof. Qin taught as an adjunct professor at NYU Law School in 1994 and was a research fellow at the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade, the predecessor of the World Trade Organization.  Prof. Qin has published in the areas of international trade law, public international law and Chinese law.  Professor Qin teaches international business transactions, international finance, international trade law and Chinese law.
