Sheldon Winkelman, ’63, a partner in the Real Estate Department of Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP (Honigman), has been elected President of the Michigan Housing Council for a one-year term. Winkelman has more than four decades experience working on a wide variety of commercial real estate and financing transactions with an emphasis on government-assisted housing. His other areas of practice include: Gaming and Hospitality; Tribal Sovereignty and Development; Affordable Housing; and Government Assisted Financing.
