“Being selected as a four-time Pitt Scholarship recipient, I know firsthand how valuable scholarships and awards are in terms of easing the financial stresses that can become a distraction in any highly competitive academic setting. But receiving them actually means a whole lot more than just paying off some bills; it’s also a tremendous show of confidence. It’s someone taking the time and energy to say to a law student, ‘I think you’re worth it.’"
At Wayne Law, we give you expert faculty; small classes; a wide array of subject areas; an exciting urban setting offering real-world practical skills training; and well-connected alumni in Michigan and throughout the country. And one more thing: scholarships. Last year at Wayne Law, we disbursed close to $2.8 million in scholarships.
The Dean’s Scholars Program
The Dean’s Scholars Program awards 50 percent, 75 percent or 100 percent tuition scholarships to top students of each incoming class. These awards are renewable yearly if the student maintains a GPA above an established minimum.
Merit Scholarships
Merit Scholarships are one-year awards of at least $10,000 to incoming students based on outstanding entering credentials.
Scholarships for Continuing Students
At Wayne Law, even if you don’t receive a merit scholarship in your first year, you can earn a 100 percent tuition scholarship for the following year based solely on your first year performance. We believe that a great law school needs great students.
